Ken Blossom

As a second generation drywall man, Ken Blossom has been in the drywall industry for the last thirty years. He has done virtually nothing else in his professional career and plans for this to continue to be the case.
From 1976 to 1988, Ken started from the ground up as a sweeper and worked his way through the hanging, taping and sanding processes of the drywall business. In 1988, Ken worked for one of the largest new construction drywall company where he supervised the drywall installation crews as well as continued to perform hands on installation and repairs. After six years, in 1994, Ken was recruited to a major Detroit builder to be a part of the team that created an in-house drywall company. Over 10 years in his role as a drywall superintendent for this builder, Ken oversaw the installation of drywall in several hundred units per year while assisting the builder in reducing costs both in drywall and in other areas of construction most particularly framing. These units ranged from small single family homes to large multi-family urban townhome buildings as well as large apartment complexes.
After working for the builder for 10 years, Ken elected to set off on his own to found Multi Drywall & Partition, LLC with several partners. The business was founded on the principle of “provide high levels of customer service, high levels of professionalism and high levels of quality to our customers at a very competitive price.” Because of Ken’s principles, the company has thrived since its inception and continues to pick up referrals and customers even as the rest of the industry in a downtrend.
